Leading or Fooling India !

Lead India mein hai Dum ya kum ...??
Lead India or what India Needs ..??
Lead India Movement a marketing event or it really means business...??

such questions comes to the mind of many of us... same with me... and this is what i presume...

although i'm too small to comment on such a campaign where distinguished people from various backgrounds
having significant contributions under their belts are particpating.. but still I'm living in a democratic
country which gives me freedom of speech (and a big mouth) i say...

to start with my first sincere attention towards this campaign went when i saw one of my friend Prateek making it to the top 8 in delhi region....having couple of talks with him earlier... i was already a big fan of him ...
coz of his idea of having public private health care system and being a strong supporter of compassionate entrepreneurship..

I guess this campign deals with selecting candidates from each regions, then choosing one out them after rounds of elimination based on public votes (sms voting), by spl jury etc....

Consequently going nationally having candidates from each of regions and finally having the Great Modern Intellectual Leader who will be sent to US for a public administration course or kind ( not sure abt this)and 50 lakhs rupees to spent on public welfare etc and to work with government outfit.

Remind you this is a profit making venture as each sms cost rs. 3 or so.

Now coming to the point whether this campaign comes out with the Leader India really looking for or not...???

Indeed all those who made it to top 8 from each regions are Leaders in true sense, they have vision, commitment and
mostly importantly courage to fight against the odds.

But really do we need such a campaign and such a platform like Lead India to acknowledge their capabilities.
Will ,only the chosen one... coming out of Lead India Campaign can Lead this country ahead, also is he required to undergo
a course in US to deal with our issues..???? (means now we have to bank upon US to learn leadership and administration, Technology transfer tak theek tha ... but this is too much !!!)

I guess the need is to get the leaders (who no matter in how big or small made a difference ) realize their importance and duty towards their motherland without any acknowledgment, also is too masses to realize that they keep the potential to make things happen !!!. ( BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE - MK Gandhi )


Else these events turn out to be producing more drawing room revolutionist , provoked and motivated to speak more and do less.(just like me )

I guess these events go well with intellectual mcdonald pizza hut junta .... who go well with the campaign till it is played around..
but similarily as the dance number stops their legs stop and blood is again all thanda.


One more concern whether such campaign goes well with our rural folks or it is just like the India Rising ( of BJP fame) felt in
metros and finally the ship sinks.(Hey! Advani - Atal)

FACT : Cable Penetration in India is too small, DD toh ghar ghar nahin pahucha .... STAR ONE ka no pata nahin kab Aayega ( the Channel Broadcasting Lead India )

I dont think a leader is bounded by language .... (mind you english speaking junta be ready to be lead by our very own desi chora.)


But the effort of ad makers must be acknowledged.
Bravo!!! to the them.... Donno How far Lead India goes but one thing is sure your ads go one mile more.... :)

I wished to start a blog a long back......to pen down my mind on paper....
alot comes in (slowly) and goes out (fast) of my mind....

i wanted my blog to be special .... i dont event recall what exactly i wanted out of my blog..
this wish make me took over an year to put forward my first entry on net...

Nevermind after couple of unsuccessful attempts... i'm here with my first entry...

a good name for this one ... and this comes to my mind "" I donno why...????""

i wish whatever i write is original to best of my knowledge not your's ;)

it may be inspired from one or other piece you might have read before...

no matter u like it or not .. it's my view ....
